The toner in photocopiers and laser printers can be used to adhere our Tonertex foils. The results are very professional, and totally smooth with the surface.
Technique

Cut the Tonertex foil and lay it colourside up, over the printed area.

Place over the silicone mat. Glide the heated foiling Wand firmly over the Tonertex foil. 		Tonertex foiling technique
Peel back to reveal the print has now been transformed into a real metallic finish!

Stencil Cutting Attachment Ref:192
An attachment is available for the SP50 Foiling Wand that converts it into a Stencil Cutter. It can also be used to cut synthetic fabrics and plastics. Tonertex foiling wand

The Foiling Wand - with it's curved foot and silicone mat act like the more expensive professional fusing machines, featured overleaf. Results are very professional. Similar in technology to a soldering iron, but with a stabilised low temperature and reinforced barrel. Attachments do not fit other heated tools.

The SP50 contains just the Foiling Wand, Mat & the DVD. It is recommended for people who have only one specific project in mind. If you are a crafter and like to experiment with different techniques, colour combinations, etc...  we recommend the more versatile Z12 kit with all the appropriate accessories.

Lazertrans Silk is a special paper made to transfer toner from a laser printer or a photocopier onto fabric. When the design has been transfered (as instructed), it can be foiled as shown on right. It is ideal for printing ribbon, photograph albums, portfolios, folders, boxes,
frames, etc. It is not like the standard transfer papers, as it transfers only the toner, keeping the softness and texture of the fabric. Not suitable for items that will be washed. Pre-test before commencing your project. Tonertex Lazertrans Silk
